Alfred is well-verse Hardware-Software associate researcher with strong background in computer systems engineering. At BITRI, he currently focuses on need-based technology research for Batswana mainly developing Health Data Analytics Technologies , Health Care Services Optimization systems, TV white space spectrum utilization for broadband(with CSIR-SA), and designing of mobile technologies for Education, Agriculture, Tourism sector processes optimization. He holds an Honors degree in Computer Engineering from University of Glamorgan, UK and currently pursuing his MSc Electronics Engineering (majoring Computer Engineering) at University of Botswana.

Alfred’s previous assignments includes developing brain computer interfacing algorithms for application in rehabilitation robotics, Remote drone surveillance image processing system for anti-poaching, Diamond Separation from other stones optimization vision system (For De-Beers Botswana) and Smart Intelligent Traffic Lights Control System with route optimization app for drivers. He also had designed software and mobile systems for electronic medical diagnosis for at-home use, self-tutoring mobile apps for BGCSE. He is a member of ACM computer society and IEEE.
