Botswana will host the 6th SEANAC Conference at the Chobe Marina Lodge in Kasane, from 19th – 22nd June 2016. The conference themed “Innovative & Sustainable Solutions for Water, Energy and Food Security” is expected to bring together experts from government, academia, and commercial companies to discuss several aspects of analytical chemistry such as instrumentation, techniques and methodologies.
The general topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to Green Chemistry, Renewable Energy, Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Electroanalytical Chemistry, Food Analysis, Bioanalysis, Nanotechnology and Nano-analysis. A pre-conference workshop for graduate students will cover topics such as Sample Preparation, Nanotechnology and Electrospinning.
The registration fee for the conference is P4000 and it includes admission to all scientific sessions, including poster sessions, an abstract booklet in a USB key containing the list of participants and abstracts and all conference materials. The fee also covers a welcome reception on Sunday 19thJune, conference dinner on 21stJune, one game drive or boat cruise excursion as well as three lunches and six coffee breaks.
