Kaone Bogopa is a full time Associate Researcher – Electronics and Communications at BITRI. He holds a Masters degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey in England, attained in July 2013. Previous institutions attended include University of Essex and University of Botswana for undergraduate studies. He has been a member of staff at UB from September 2014 to July 2014 as a research fellow in electronic engineering before subsequently joining BITRI. Since after graduation, he has been involved in various discussion groups ranging from smart sensor networks, smart automation, biotechnology, m-Health, e-Agriculture and other various innovation technology groups. His areas of research and development are in signal processing and embedded systems. Currently at BITRI, he is involved in designing an intelligent transport systems in Gaborone to optimise road conditions and delays encountered at peak hours.
