Kefentse Arnold Tumedi is in the diagnostics team of Natural Resources and Materials. He has worked as a Quality Assurance Manager for a local condom manufacturing plant called Latex Medical Products, then for the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC-Botswana as a Medical Research Scientist. He then worked for University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, Botswana-Upenn Partnership as a Laboratory Scientist.
His recent research work has been published in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology on Mixed infection and Inability of current diagnostic tests to diagnose them. He also published his undergraduate work on liver protective properties of the local water melon against paracetamol induced oxidative stress in May 2014.
