Tiro works as Associate Researcher with the Climate Change Division. His area of research involves developing and adapting methods to downscale global climate projections to a scale appropriate for assessments and policies in Botswana.

Tiro holds a BSc (Hons) Meteorology from the University of Reading (UK). He previously worked as a Meteorologist with the Department of Meteorological Services and was seconded as a System Administrator to the Monitoring of Environment for Security in Africa (MESA-SADC THEMA) project.

Tiro’s research interests lie in Climate Modelling and Climate Data Analysis.
