Oaitse Kokome is a software engineer with background in mobile, web and application development. His specialty is database systems and his main focus is researching database systems. Oaitse is also responsible for designing, developing and maintaining database systems for BITRI projects and systems. He is also a well-versed back end and front end developer.

In his pursuit to develop technological solutions that will provide sustainable solutions for Botswana he has taken on research projects from different fields, these being Health, Education, Tourism, Transport and Agriculture.
