Monthusiotsile holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Informatics and a Masters of Information Technology (Network Computing from University of Canberra (Australia). He is currently working as an Associate Research-Information Systems and Technology at BITRI, some of the research projects he is involved in include design and development of Education, Agriculture and Tourism based computer systems, Utilization of TV white space spectrum as broadband, and Indigenous Knowledge Systems.
Monthusiotsile has a strong background in Computer Systems engineering, having previously worked on two national projects (Livestock Identification and Traceability and Botswana Animal Information and Traceability System) for the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Veterinary Services) and as Business Informatics intern with the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA), working on the redevelopment of their website and filing system, and server support.
