Botswana Institute of Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) will host the second BITRI Public Seminar on Tuesday 11 November 2014 at Maranyane House, the BITRI Head Office, Gaborone, Botswana. The guest speaker for the Seminar is Dr. Kamal Bhattacharya, Vice President, IBM Research – Africa and a renowned scholar and leading expert in the ICT field. He will speak on the topic – ‘Envisioning Africa through the lenses of Science & Technology’ and will discuss some of the misconceptions about the rate of technology adoption in Africa and envision how science and technology could make a difference to five grand challenges of Africa in the next five years.
